Initial Consultation

An initial consultation consists of a 60-minute session in which we will explore the nature of your current symptoms, concerns, and difficulties. During this time, we will work together with you to come up with a focused, personalized plan for your treatment based on your specific needs. We will provide recommendations and will determine how best we can help you meet our agreed-upon treatment goals.
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is typically offered in weekly 45-minute sessions, but depending on your needs, can be conducted more or less frequently. Initially the focus is on exploring your experience and establishing a mutual understanding of treatment. Each session will be tailored to your unique needs and we will check in periodically to ensure that progress is being made. Depending on the issues you are looking for help with, we will help you learn and use specific, proven strategies in sessions as well as in your everyday life in order to reach your goals.
Family Therapy
Family therapy is offered on a short term or long term basis, depending on your needs. Based on your goals, family therapy can be used to help navigate relationships and/or assist with effective communication within the family structure. If you are a couple or family wanting to pursue therapy, please first book an Initial Consultation session all together so that we can meet and determine the proper support that you need.
Parenting Sessions
We offer parenting sessions as its own form of treatment as well as collateral sessions for children enrolled in individual therapy. We have been trained in Kazdin's model of Parent Management Training at Yale University and use these skills to provide effective treatments for parents seeking help. Depending on your needs, we can help craft a plan to provide you with support, strategies and skills.
Supervision & Consultation
We are available for supervision for license-eligible students and clinicians as well as consultation for licensed clinicians. Areas of focus for supervision or consultation include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
